Registration is now open for the 2027 Robofest Game and Exhibition Qualifying Competitions at Acadia University!

Before registering your team, please note:

  • ONE lead coach will register a team and submit registration details for each individual youth and adult member on their behalf.
  • You may register a team and come back to add, change, or complete individual members' details at a later date.*
  • Please create a new roster for each team and/or division by opening a new registration form or selecting "Register Another Team"  
  • Payment is not due at time of registration. Please see our fee policy below.
  • Once you have submitted a team registration form, you will receive a unique link that will grant you future access to make edits and submit forms to your roster. Please bookmark or save your roster link.

*To register youth team members, you will need the following information: first and last name, birthdate, grade, number of robot-programming competitions previously attended, and, if the individual is comfortable, their ethnic/cultural and gender identities.  

*Personal information is collected and managed securely and confidentially, with privacy and consent prioritized. Information is used for program administration and anonymous demographic statistics to improve our programming, and is only accessible to authorized, privacy-trained staff and not shared outside our organization except where required by law.

Consent and Release Waivers:

All members must be registered and have an Acadia Consent and Release waiver submitted no later than January 20th.  Without a waiver, participation is prohibited.

All waivers are to be uploaded to your online roster as a pdf or jpeg. Scans or clear photos are acceptable. Signatures must be authentic, i.e., plain text overlay will be rejected.

Fees:

Acadia Robotics’ Participation Fee is $175 CAD per team. Acadia Robotics is a registered nonprofit; fees are collected as a contribution towards the cost of lunch and competition materials.

Fees are due by January 20, 2027, and can be paid by cheque, cash, or money order. We are unable to accept e-transfer, debit/credit, or EFT. If the available payment types pose challenges, please contact us.

Cheques or money orders should be made out to 'Acadia University' and dropped off or mailed to: Acadia Robotics, 27 University Ave., Wolfville, NS, B4P 2R6.

Teams competing at Acadia* are exempt from additional fees paid to Robofest. Please note this when navigating Robofest’s website, which may include mention of a $110 USD Registration Fee. Only Acadia’s Participation Fee is collected.

*Robofest’s fee will be applicable for teams who qualify and choose to attend the World Championship in Seoul, South Korea.
